Southern Iceland Elopement Workshop
An immersive, small-group experience in Southern Iceland designed for photographers ready to elevate their destination elopement work; creatively, strategically, and as a powerful personal brand.
With a maximum of 8–12 attendees (4 people per vehicle), this workshop is intentionally intimate, giving you hands-on education, meaningful connection, and portfolio-building time in some of Iceland’s most iconic locations.
The Heart of the Workshop
This workshop goes far beyond capturing gorgeous images. It transforming how you shoot, how you run your business, and how you show up online as a recognizable, trusted brand.
You will:
Build a high-end Iceland elopement portfolio across multiple epic locations that actually helps you sell the destination experience.
Photograph curated couples with multiple styled looks so you can create a cohesive, elevated visual story for your portfolio and brand.
Learn the business side of destination and elopement photography, from inquiries to delivery.
Craft a client experience that helps you stand out and serve your couples at a higher level.
Build profitable pricing packages for destination elopements and multi-day coverage.
Leverage modern marketing, social media, and AI tools so you can actually use your new images to build and maintain a strong, consistent brand.
Marketing, Branding & AI Session
Once you have the portfolio, we’ll focus on how to put it to work for you.
In our marketing and branding portion, you’ll learn how to:
Clarify your brand position and ideal couple so your Iceland content speaks directly to the people you most want to book.
Turn your images into strategic content across Instagram, your website, blog, and Pinterest with simple, repeatable workflows.
Use AI-powered tools to brainstorm content ideas, batch captions, create outlines for blogs, and repurpose shoots into reels, carousels, and emails; without losing your unique voice.
Use data and insights to understand what’s working, refine your messaging, and keep your brand strong and consistent over time.
You’ll leave with a clear marketing plan and AI-supported systems so your new Iceland portfolio doesn’t just sit on a hard drive, it actively works to grow your business.
Itinerary Overview
Ideal Group Size
4 people per vehicle (with luggage), with a maximum group size of 8–12 attendees, plus models.
We will aim for one couple with multiple looks, with the potential for additional couples depending on logistics and local availability.
September 9 – Arrival, Reset & Welcome
Early morning arrival at Keflavik Airport (on or before September 9).
Pickup and transfer to Reykjavik.
Optional Blue Lagoon / Sky Lagoon visit (~100 USD per person) to reset after travel.
Meet & greet and light workshop session once checked in.
Quick grocery stop to grab snacks and light lunch items for the next few days.
Optional engagement-style shoot in and around Reykjavik (no driving required).
September 10 – Iconic Waterfalls & Golden Hour
Breakfast at the hotel (included).
Models get ready + styling.
10:00 am – Drive south (approximately 2–2.5 hours).
Skogafoss shoot.
Stop at Flaxi Bakery.
Short hike and quieter shoot at Kvernufoss.
Seljalandsfoss at golden hour.
Evening: Hotel check-in, workshop session, Q&A, and shot planning for the next day.
September 11 – Black Sand & Coastal Views
Breakfast at the hotel (included).
Models get ready + styling.
10:00 am – Head south.
Lighthouse stop overlooking the black sand beach.
Black Sand Beach stop.
Vik Church stop.
Yoda Rock stop.
Continued shooting, direction, and creative education throughout the day.
September 12 – Glaciers, Ice & Mountains
Breakfast at the hotel (included).
Models get ready + styling.
9:30 am – Head south.
Diamond Beach.
Glacier Lagoon.
Vestrahorn.
A full editorial day focused on storytelling, movement, and intentional portfolio building.
September 13 – Return & Wrap-Up
Breakfast at the hotel (included).
Drive back to Reykjavik (approximately 6 hours).
Free time to explore Reykjavik, shop, or capture final personal content.
Wrap-up dinner and closing workshop session (including marketing, branding, and AI implementation debrief).
September 14 – Departure
Early morning flights home; airport drop-off included.
