My inspiration for this shoot was all about today's boho bride, who wants a little bit of whimsy but still embraces a polished, stress-free vibe. Think loose, effortless waves paired with intricate fishtail and Dutch braids—styles that have that “I woke up like this” feel but are polished enough to stay gorgeous all day long. I’ve always loved working with different textures, so I focused on showcasing both smooth, refined looks and more playful, textured styles.
Inclusivity is key to me, and I love working with brides of all ethnicities. Hair is so personal, and it’s amazing to see how different styles bring out the natural beauty in everyone. One of my favorite bridal trends right now? Hair accessories! They’re the perfect way to fill in any gaps and add that final touch of sparkle or softness. I always carry some in my kit—pearl clips, vines, you name it. But if you’ve got a specific vision in mind, I always suggest that brides pick out an accessory that complements their dress and overall vibe.
Extensions are also a game changer. If you’ve fallen in love with a hairstyle on Pinterest or Instagram, it’s likely the bride in that photo is rocking some extensions. The truth is, about 80% of those dreamy Pinterest styles need a little help from clip-in extensions for added volume. Clip-ins are my go-to for brides who want fuller hair but don’t need the bulk every day. And if you’re looking for something more long-term, I specialize in nano bead and K-tip extensions, which last up to six months and are perfect for brides who want to carry that wedding day glam into their honeymoon.

One of the questions I hear most often is, “How do I find my bridal style?” For many brides, it’s hard to even know where to start. That’s where I come in! I’ve been in the hair industry for nearly a decade, starting from a humble receptionist gig at a small-town salon to working my way up in Saskatoon’s top salons. Now, I’ve found my niche as a bridal stylist, traveling to make brides feel beautiful on their big day.
In case you’re wondering who I am when I’m not holding a curling iron—well, I’m a mermaid at heart. I live for beach days, sunshine, and ocean vibes. When I’m not styling hair, you can find me painting, juicing, or scouting out the next travel gem. Surfing, visiting flower farms, and sunset picnics are a few of my favorite pastimes, and yes, I’ll always ask what’s for dessert before the main course!
