Arrive at Local Market YQR, check in with the Mint team, grab coffee and a light snack, and get settled into the space. This is a relaxed time to meet fellow creatives, explore the venue, and see the editorial vignettes before shooting begins.

9:00–10:00 | Education with Becky: Foundations for an Editorial Lover-Era Shoot

Becky will kick off the day with a focused education session on shooting for publication and creating scroll‑stopping content from an editorial like this. She’ll walk through how she approaches light, composition, posing and storytelling on a wedding day, plus how to make the most of styled shoots so they actually book you your dream couples.

10:00–11:30 | Styling & Detail Stations

In small groups, you’ll rotate through beautifully styled detail stations: stationery flats, rings and accessories, floral moments, cake and champagne, and decor vignettes inspired by the Lover-era pastel garden theme. Becky and the Mint team will be on hand to offer direction, answer questions, and help you refine your styling and shooting approach so you walk away with a diverse set of portfolio images.

11:30–1:00 | Lunch & Education with Becky

Enjoy a catered lunch while continuing the conversation with Becky and fellow attendees. During this segment, Becky will dive deeper into workflow, working with real couples, and how to translate what you’re learning today into a smoother, more elevated wedding-day experience for your clients. Expect practical tips, open Q&A, and lots of candid discussion.

1:00–3:45 | Couple Portraits & Editorial Scenes

The afternoon is dedicated to shooting our Lover-inspired couples in multiple setups: ceremony-inspired scenes, intimate editorial portraits, and romantic tablescape moments. You’ll have structured time with each couple so everyone can shoot, experiment with posing and movement, and create a gallery that reflects your personal style—while Becky circulates to offer live coaching and gentle direction.

3:45–4:45 | Marketing Lab: Turning Content into Bookings

Once cameras are down, we’ll shift into a marketing-focused session on how to strategically use this new content. We’ll cover social media (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest), website curation, and submissions, plus how to speak to your ideal client through captions, blog posts and galleries. You’ll leave with a clear action plan for sharing your images in a way that supports your brand and books weddings.

4:45–5:00 | Final Q&A & Wrap

We’ll close the day with an open Q&A so you can ask any final questions about shooting, styling, marketing or business. You’ll get final reminders about image delivery guidelines, tagging participating vendors, and next steps for potential publication, then we’ll officially wrap and say our goodbyes.
