Styled Shoot

You’ve poured your creativity into every detail — the florals, the fashion, the light, the mood.

Mint Wedding Magazine is now accepting styled shoot submissions for print and digital features across our regional issues in Manitoba, Saskatchewan & Alberta. Selected shoots will receive a 6-page magazine spread, vendor credits, social features on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and mentions in both our bride and wedding pro newsletters.  Limited applications are accepted per issue.

This is your opportunity to show future clients what’s possible when creative freedom meets intentional design.

In the Spotlight

Styled Shoots: The Wedding Pro’s Ultimate Marketing Power Move.

Let’s be honest: styled shoots take effort. Wrangling a dream team, mood boards, rentals, florals, timelines, and hoping the weather behaves kind of effort. But when done right and you treat that shoot as more than just pretty content for Instagram? It becomes a marketing tool that works for months (even years) after the petals fall.

While styled shoots look dreamy, they’re also an insanely smart play in today’s content-hungry world. Clients aren't just picking vendors off a business card anymore — they’re choosing based on the vibe, the visuals, and whether you pop up on their feed when they’re deep in their Pinterest-scroll at midnight.

Here’s how to turn all that styled shoot sweat into brand-boosting gold:

1. Styled Shoots Tell Your Story — Not Just the Couple’s

Real weddings are lovely, but let’s face it — you don’t always get to flex your full creative muscle. Styled shoots are your chance to show the dream work without real-life limits. You choose the colours, the textures, the trends — and show future clients the kind of magic you bring when there are no rules.

2. Print + Digital Features = Instant Credibility

Being published in Mint Wedding Magazine puts you in front of a highly targeted audience — and gives you credibility in a very saturated market. Couples (and other vendors) notice when your work is chosen for editorial features. It says:
👉 “This pro knows what they’re doing — and they’re on trend.”

Plus, once you’re published, you have permanent bragging rights. Add it to your website, your pitch decks, your Instagram bio. Use it to pitch future collabs or attract higher-end clients.

3. You’re Meeting Clients Where They Already Are

Here’s the tea: today’s couples are planning weddings through their phones. They’re finding vendors via Instagram, saving mood boards on Pinterest, binge-watching TikTok planning hacks, and asking, “Who did this shoot?” when something inspires them.

By submitting your shoot to Mint:

  • You’re being seen where brides are looking

  • You’re aligning your brand with current trends and visuals

  • You’re getting tagged, reposted, and boosted across our platforms, too

  • You’re staying top of mind, even before that couple starts booking.

Real Talk: This Is Marketing That Feels Like Fun

You already put your heart into the details — why not make it work overtime? Instead of hoping a few photos get likes on social, invest in the kind of marketing that builds trust, reputation, and visibility. Styled shoots aren’t “just for fun” — they’re a runway for your brand to strut its stuff.

Now let’s get your work published and seen.
Let’s make it Mint-worthy 🍃

Billing & Vendor Fee
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to submit your styled shoot. This deposit is applied to the lead vendor’s total fee. Only 2 Styled Shoots are accepted in each Issue. Only accepted shoots are required to submit a deposit.

Final balance is due once your vendor list is confirmed and no later than the content deadline date.

We invoice as one group — so all vendor fees are collected together by the lead vendor and submitted as a single payment.

Total cost is $200 + GST per participating vendor, with a minimum of 5 vendors per shoot. Additional vendors may be added before the final deadline.

The Styled Shoot Sumission includes:
– Multi-page feature in print, plus 1/4 page ad for each vendor, plus 5 print copies per vendor
– Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest marketing
– Mentions in both our Bride + Pro newsletters
– Direct links + tags to your business
– Editorial support and visual curation
